I've decided to give this livejournal thing a try. Although I've had a journal before (xanga), it's gotten weirder and weirder to write. I am, afterall, directly speaking to my computer screen and only indirectly to my friends.
Today I got a package from my parents, or rather, from my dad. He's been talking about sending me a "good luck" gift for this semester's finals since, well, last semester's finals. I suspected cookies or candy (like last time, even though I had told him not to send me anything that would make me clothes tighter after finals! -- a good luck phone call, or card if he had to send me something through the USPS, would be fine!). But no, my dad sent me a WHOOPIE PIE. Which, I might add, I had never heard of prior to opening the big brown box with a label reading "wicked whoopies." It's chocolate cake with tons of cream in the middle. This is not diet food, my friends. I opened it up with kids from my hall tonight, and we've barely made a dent. Oh, Dad. You had to send me a whoopie pie.

So here I am...in livejournal form.
I'm taking a break to write a quick first entry because I'm so tired from studying, writing papers, making plans to come home, plans for summer, etc. This is procrastination at its worst.
